In the following exchange, Professors Tim Wu and Christopher Yoo engage in an informative debate over the merits of network neutrality that reviews the leading arguments on both sides of the issue.Though the current debate draws primarily from the US experience, the way network neutrality debate eventually develops will hold the key to the development and future of Internet. As Tim Wu highlights, this was a key issue during the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) consideration of the recent SBC-AT&T, Verizon-MCI, and AT&T-BellSouth mergers in the US.
