The report examines ways in which Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can best contribute to the delivery of education for those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Ghana. It has shown that a range of Assistive Technologies, including ICTs, do indeed have an important role to play in delivering the objectives of the Ghana Education Service (GES) with regard to SEN. The challenge is now to turn these conclusions into reality on the ground. This report is based on the premise that further work is needed to prioritise and formulate a detailed operational strategy by the GES in consultation with relevant stakeholders. A synthesis of data has been collected during the study to highlight potential areas of intervention within the special education sector (Adapted from author).
