Survey of ICT in education in Africa (Volume 2): 53 country reports

December 2007, Glen Farrell et al., InfoDev

These reports provide snapshots of the current state of activities and issues related to ICT use in individual African countries. As ICT use in education is rapidly evolving in Africa with new developments happening daily somewhere on the continent, the reports are not exhaustive and some of the information they present may become out-dated very quickly. The reports give an overview and profile of the country before moving on to details of the country's education system, ICT policies, infrastructure, current ICT initiatives and projects, and implementing ICT in education. They are accompanied by 'Survey of ICT and Education in Africa: A Summary Report', based on 53 country surveys, which is also available online.
